I try to be courteous when I am entering or leaving a store and hold the door for others, I don't let it slam in their face or shove myself in first and I have taught my children to do the same. So it irks me to no end when people waltz out of an establishment with me holding the door and cannot utter even the simplest of grunts that might slightly be taken as a thank you. REALLY? when did doors start automatically opening for you? are you the CHOSEN ones, and what exactly are you teaching your children? Is it too much to think a smile or a simple thanks is in order?
